Artist Statement
According to me, designing a necklace is like writing a story.
First, there is an idea followed by inspiration & imagination of different forms, colors, textures, harmony, contrast or even sounds!
Then, it's time to give life to this idea. With hands, ears and eyes working the colors, textures, cutting, mixing, sewing... That is putting pieces together to start ''THE'' story.
A story which is different from the others, the only common point is the happy ending: Satisfaction & originality.
I mainly design what I'm afraid of! Generally these are my best craziest creations. Well, I admit my ability to make people see what they are NOT prepared to see.
I never lose an opportunity of noticing a hidden beauty, as it's all around us. Nature inspires me as well as my son's spontaneous paintings.
People say that I create beautiful and unique jewelry, in fact I don't create beauty, I just reveal it in my own way, and in my own rules.
What is my greatest accomplishment?
Trying to be myself in a world that's constantly trying to make me someone else!
Nevertheless, If you look at my designs, just expect ''THE'' unusual... And don't hesitate to ask the question...
